If your DACA is not expired, then you can request to renew by filling out the application as a renewal application.
If your DACA has been expired for one year or less, then you can request to renew by filling out the application as a renewal application.
If your DACA has been expired for more than one year or your period with DACA was cut short by DHS, you may request to renew but remind you must fill out the application as if you were applying for the first time.
In these last cases, don’t forget to prove that you meet each DACA eligibility guideline.
Step 4.: Write a cover letter:
A cover letter makes you better prepared when the USCIS agent reviews your application.
Step 5.: Money Order
In your application, you must include a money order of $495 made out to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to cover your biometric and processing fees.
You can purchase money orders at your local U.S. Post Office, convenience store, grocery store, or bank.
